AyurYoga Seminar 19.2-20.5.2018 at the AyurFarm in Chudíř

21 June is International Yoga Day. The University of Ayurveda, Prague, has decided to celebrate this holiday with a two-day seminar for the entire family. Children will have a program of activities available and adults will be able to attend the seminar. We will celebrate on the Saturday and Sunday before the holiday, in line with custom, on 19-20 May 2018. This is a holiday for the University of Ayurveda and we will be analyzing, discussing and increasing our awareness and knowledge of the subject “What is the basis of Ayurveda and Yoga? What is life?” We will begin with that on Saturday, analyzing the ancient Vedic tracts that explain what life is, what is is comprised of, etc. The basic book of yoga is the Patanjali Yoga Sutra, and we will analyze that text. It is interesting to observe how each sutra comes to life and what the effect of these principles is in the body. On Sunday 20 May 2018 we will practice yogasanas, pranayama, mudras and bandhas, the elements of yoga instruction. Main lecturer: Govindji, Instructors: Luky Tomek and Hanka Matějovská
